Overturn

For denials of $10,000 or more

Your insurer denied a claim. We fight to get it overturned.

Overturn researches your denial, drafts a professional appeal built on your plan's own coverage language and clinical evidence, and manages every deadline on your behalf, acting as your authorized representative.

Submit your case for a free review

Free review. No obligation. You pay only if your denial is reversed.

Overturn is a patient advocacy service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal or medical advice. See full disclaimers below.

What a free review includes

  • An honest read on whether your denial is worth fighting — before you commit to anything.
  • A plain-language explanation of why the claim was denied and what the appeal path looks like.
  • No cost to find out. We only get paid a success fee if your denial is reversed.

How it works

Three steps, starting with a free review

No fee at intake. No fee during the review. You only owe us anything if we win.

STEP 1

Send us your denial letter

Tell us what your insurer denied, roughly how much it's worth, and describe your denial letter. Takes about five minutes.

STEP 2

We tell you honestly if it's fightable

We review the denial reason against your plan's coverage language. If it's not a strong case, we'll tell you that too, plainly and for free.

STEP 3

We build and file your appeal

As your authorized representative, we draft the appeal, gather supporting clinical evidence, and track every deadline. You pay a success fee only if the denial is reversed.

Why this is worth doing

Most denials are never challenged. Insurers count on that.

Two numbers worth knowing before you decide whether your denial is worth fighting. Both come from independent research, not from us.

~1 in 5

In-network health insurance claims submitted through ACA marketplace plans are denied by insurers.

<1%

Of those denials are ever appealed by the patient — meaning the overwhelming majority of denials, including wrongful ones, simply go unchallenged.

Overturn is a new service. We don't have a published win rate yet, and we won't invent one. What we can tell you is that most denials never get a second look, and finding out where you stand costs you nothing.

Is this a fit

Where we can help — and where we can't

Good fit

  • A specific claim was denied and the billed or denied amount is $10,000 or more
  • You have (or can get) the denial letter or explanation of benefits (EOB)
  • The denial deadline for appeal hasn't already passed
  • You want someone to handle the paperwork and deadlines for you

Not a fit right now

  • You need legal advice or plan to pursue litigation — talk to an attorney, not us
  • You need urgent medical or mental health guidance — talk to your provider or care team
  • The denied amount is under $10,000 — our process is built for high-dollar claims
  • You want a guaranteed outcome — no one can promise that, and we won't pretend to

What it costs

A flat fee, agreed in writing, owed only if you win

The review is always free. If we take your case, we agree on a flat success fee in writing before anything is filed. For most cases it lands between $500 and $2,000, based on the size of the denied claim. If your denial isn't reversed, you owe nothing. You can cancel any time before we file.

You pay

  • One flat fee in plain dollars, never a percentage of your claim
  • Only after the reversal is confirmed in writing by your insurer
  • Exactly the amount in your agreement, with no add-ons

You never pay

  • Anything for the review, win or lose
  • Anything if the appeal doesn't succeed
  • Anything you didn't agree to in writing beforehand

Tell us about your denial

Five minutes. No cost. No obligation. We'll follow up by email to let you know honestly whether your case is worth appealing.

Please don't include medical records or detailed health information in this form. A short description of what was denied is enough for this first step. If we take your case, we'll collect any medical records through a secure, separate channel.

By submitting, you agree we may contact you by email about your case. This is not an engagement of legal services.

Prefer email? Send the same details to contact@overturn.claims.

Most denials are never challenged. Yours doesn't have to go unchallenged.

A free review costs you nothing and takes about five minutes. If we don't think your case is worth fighting, we'll tell you that too.
